FARMER's MARKET VENDOR APPLICATION 

We are excited to create a music festival with a farmer's market onsite and are looking for the right vendor partners to help bring this idea to life.  

 

We understand that music festival attendees may not buy a week's worth of fresh groceries, but we're excited to find vendors who could sell festival-friendly items like fresh fruit, handmade baked goods and specialty items that would be good to snack on.  

 

We also welcome applications from small, local business in the farm-to-table community (but do not sell products onsite) to provide an opportunity to promote and expand their business.

The weekend fee for a 10x10 Farmer's Market space is $150.

 

All vendors must commit to being onsite both days, staffed and open for business from 1PM - 6PM

 

The fee includes vendor staff credentials.  Additional vendor tickets must be purchased. 

A certificate of insurance is required from every vendor. 

Vendors selling prepared foods must apply for a food permit from the Town of Canton, MA.

Vendors selling uncut or raw vegetables only are not required to get a permit from the town.

 

Vendors must supply their own tents, tables, chairs and lighting.  

 

All tents are required to be weighted and secured properly. Unpredictable weather and wind can come up at any moment creating a safety hazard if the canopy is not properly secured.

 

Sufficiently weighted tents will have at least 40 pounds per leg and double that on a 10x20 tent. 

 

Weights should not cause a tripping hazard

Weights should be tethered with lines that are clearly visible

Weights should have soft edges to avoid causing cuts and scrapes

Weights should be securely attached

Weights should be on the ground (NOT above people’s heads)

 

There is to be no staking into the ground whatsoever.
