SUPPORT OUR NON-PROFIT AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS

The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and among the largest food banks in the country. GBFB provides the equivalent of 50 million healthy meals annually, distributed through its network of 530 member food pantries, meal programs and shelters across Eastern Massachusetts. GBFB operates four direct service programs at nearly 70 sites throughout the area. A member of Feeding America, the nation's food bank network, GBFB serves more than 140,000 people every month in its goal to create a hunger-free Eastern Massachusetts.

Festival at the Farm is committed to supporting non-profits that are focused on driving community involvement on both the grassroots and business level.  Our onsite nonprofit and community partners focus largely on bringing healthy, organic or humanely farmed food to the community and stewardship of the environment.

NORTHEAST ORGANIC FARMING ASSOCIATION

The Northeast Organic Farming Association is a non-profit organization of over 5,000 farmers, gardeners, landscape professionals and consumers working to promote healthy food, organic farming practices and a cleaner environment.
NOFA has chapters in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

CERTIFIED HUMANE
Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) is the leading non-profit certification organization dedicated to improving the lives of farm animals in food production from birth through slaughter.  The goal of the program is to improve the lives of farm animals by driving consumer demand for kinder and more responsible farm animal practices.

ASPCA

The ASPCA is a national animal welfare organization committed to protecting animals from cruelty. As part of its mission to improve the lives of farm animals, the ASPCA works to help consumers make more humane food purchases while simultaneously working with companies, governments, and institutions to improve the welfare of animals in our food system. For more information and consumer resources, visit ASPCA’s Shop With Your Heart website at aspca.org/shopwithyourheart.

THE CARROT PROJECT

The Carrot Project works at the forefront of change by helping to create a sustainable local farm and food economy. Our work facilitates access to financing and business support so that today’s small farm and food businesses can grow into thriving, enduring enterprises.  We make long-term investments in the building blocks of the food system that contribute to healthful food for consumers, a replenished environment, and strengthened regional and local economies.
